The Team Will You Be On:
AI & Computer Vision: You’ll be part of the team responsible for advancing Tracker’s core visual intelligence capabilities. This team leads the development of our proprietary computer vision models that power automated inspections, risk detection, and property intelligence across the rental lifecycle.
The Job:
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models that interpret images and video captured from mobile devices. You will own major components of our visual recognition systems—driving innovation from research and prototyping to production-ready deployment. You’ll work alongside software engineers, product managers, and data teams to deliver intelligent, real-world AI solutions for the property management industry.
You may be a good fit for the role if:
• Have 5+ years of experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field
• Have designed and deployed production-ready vision models using deep learning (e.g., object detection, instance segmentation, classification)
• Have extensive experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Are comfortable with full model lifecycle: data curation, model training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment
• Have experience working with video streams and/or real-time inference on mobile or edge devices
• Understand the tradeoffs of different neural network architectures and inference performance constraints
• Are strong in Python and familiar with core ML and vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, torchvision, ONNX)
• Have worked with MLOps tools and cloud-based AI infrastructure (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, or custom pipelines)
• (Bonus) Have experience with photogrammetry, depth estimation, or spatial reasoning tasks
• (Bonus) Have a strong academic background (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related field

Location:
Candidates must be able to visit the Albany NY/Capital District area quarterly or more if necessary and have the ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week.

Salary Range:
The pay range for this role is based on experience.
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks.
